Safety

Safety is the whole point of a verified taxi network

Cebu Taxi exists so a passenger can tell, in seconds, that the taxi in front of them is legitimate — and so someone is watching the trip until it ends.

Only verified units and drivers

Every taxi is added by a registered operator with CPC, franchise, registration and meter calibration on file. Drivers are accredited and cleared before activation.

Ride PIN before the trip starts

Your 4-digit PIN must match on the driver's app. If it does not match, do not board — report it from the app.

Live tracking and trip sharing

Send a live link to trusted contacts. They see the taxi, driver, route and ETA until you arrive.

In-ride SOS

The SOS button streams your live location to our safety command centre, alerts your trusted contacts and opens an incident with your operator.

Cebu-based support

Real people in Cebu handle emergencies, complaints and lost items — reachable from inside a ride.

In an emergency

Call 911 first. Then use the SOS button in the app so our safety team can share your live location, taxi details and driver record with responders and the operator.
