What we collect
- Account details: name, mobile number, email.
- Trip data: pickup, destination, route, timestamps, fare and payment method.
- Location data: precise location while a booking or trip is active.
- Driver and operator records: licences, clearances, franchise and vehicle documents.
- Safety data: SOS events, incident reports and support conversations.
How we use it
To dispatch taxis, verify vehicles and drivers, protect passengers during trips, produce receipts, bill operator subscriptions and investigate safety incidents.
Location sharing
A driver's live location is visible to a passenger only for an active booking. A passenger's precise location is visible to the assigned driver only between assignment and drop-off, and to our safety team during an SOS.
Retention
Trip and safety records are retained as required for regulatory, tax and dispute purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, and may lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. Contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@cebutaxi.ph.
