1. The service
Cebu Taxi provides booking, dispatch, fleet-management and safety tooling that connects passengers with franchised taxis operated by registered taxi operators. Cebu Taxi does not own taxis and does not employ drivers.
2. Fares
All trip fares are determined by the taxi's legally calibrated meter. Cebu Taxi does not set, discount or surge fares. Approved additional charges, such as terminal fees or tolls, are itemised separately.
3. Eligibility of vehicles and drivers
Only vehicles with a valid Certificate of Public Convenience, franchise and registration may be activated, and only by their registered operator. Operators remain responsible for their taxis, drivers and compliance documents.
4. Passenger conduct
Passengers must provide accurate pickup information, verify the body number and ride PIN before boarding, and pay the metered fare at the end of the trip.
5. Cancellations
Bookings may be cancelled free of charge before a driver is assigned. Repeated late cancellations may temporarily limit booking access.
6. Subscriptions
Operators are billed monthly per activated taxi. Deactivating a unit stops billing for that unit at the next billing cycle.
7. Liability
Transport services are provided by the operator and the driver. Cebu Taxi is responsible for the platform, its availability and the safety tooling it provides.
